We were appointed over a two year vacation period to replace the single glazed Crittal windows to this former manor house that is now a renowned sixth form college. We sympathetically replaced the windows with an aluminium framed double glazing system providing a 20 year guarantee to the windows. On completion we made good the windows internally and externally, undertaking York stone repairs to the mullions and transoms that had been blown by the corroding cast iron.
Re-roofs
We have undertaken 3 major roofing contracts at the college to three different buildings:
2 no. BUR ‘Langley’ felt roofing system with 20 year guarantee and
1 no. BUR (Built up roof) Liquid system by ‘Langley’ with a 20 year guarantee.
One system involved replacing the original wooden Velux windows with a more modern metal material by Velux.
